At least ten dengue patients died in the last 24 hours while 886 patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Saturday (Nov 23) morning.
With this, the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh rose to 448, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Among the latest fatalities, four were reported in Dhaka division, three in the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), and one each in the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Barishal and Chattogram divisions.
Earlier on 2 November, 10 more deaths were logged in the previous 24 hours across the country.
Besides, as many as 886 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever in a 24-hour span till today morning.
Of them, 206 were admitted to hospitals under the DNCC, while 167 under the DSCC.
A total of 85,712 dengue cases have been reported since January 1 this year.
Last year, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 dengue cases.
