Seven dengue patients died and 629 were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.

During the period, 224 Dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka city, while 405 were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). 

This year, the total number of cases rose to 93,685 while 504 deaths from dengue disease were reported during the period, the statement added.

In the past 24 hours, 842 dengue patients were discharged from different hospitals. Among the total cases, 90,622 patients have already been released, the DGHS statement added.

Last year, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 dengue cases.
