How to make your kitchen look beautiful

Space management in kitchen makes even a packed kitchen look wonderfully well organised.

Here's how you can arrange things neatly in your kitchen:

Storage solutions Pick nice containers with different weight denominations like a half kilo container, one kilo, two kilo, or three kilo, 5 kilo etc. For grains like rice, your kitchen should have a 20 kilo container. Choose larger containers for ingredients like atta, which you are going to use on a daily basis. Go for airtight containers as they will help ingredients last longer and retain the freshness for a longer period.

Go for modular kitchen Modular kitchen cabinet actually helps your kitchen look neat. Plus you will have ease in assigning a particular place to each ingredient making it easier for you to identify and recollect where a particular stuff is placed.

Kitchen must haves
Every Indian kitchen should have the following:

A knife stand, a masala container with shelves, spoon and fork holder, a cup and saucer stand, a tea pot/ kettle, a cutting board, a tray.

Color code you containers If you are not for the high end plastic containers and want to stick to stainless steel and opaque plastic containers, then make sure you colour code these. Use stickers of different colours to separate masala from grains and pulses. Also use different stickers of different colours. It will make fetching ingredients simpler for anyone who enters the kitchen.

Periodically clean the shelves Take some time off to arrange and rearrange things in the kitchen to take the boredom away. At the same time, clean the shelves and containers phase wise so that you are not stressed out.
