Isn’t it funny how one small pump of your lash curler can make all the difference?

Curled lashes open up your eyes, which makes for a striking effect even with minimal eye makeup.

Although American actress Dreama Walker’s lashes may look dramatic, you can get the same look at home — no falsies involved.

Her makeup artist Nick Barose used a combination of a lash curler, hair dryer, and a Lancome mascara to create the look.

‘To make sure your lashes hold a curl, use a hair dryer to heat up the lash curler,’ he told us.

Give your lashes one or two solid pumps with the curler, and allow them to cool before sweeping on any product.

‘Then, apply two coats of your favourite mascara.’

Start by placing the mascara wand at the base of your lashes to lock in the curled shape, then wiggle the brush toward the tips of your lashes to impart maximum volume.
