1. Exfoliate

Dry and chapped skin is often what makes your lipstick look rough and uneven. These dry lips cannot hold onto color for long making them fade away faster. Scrubbing or exfoliating your lips is extremely essential. You can use a lip scrub to exfoliate your lips and make them softer and help lipstick last longer.

2. Moisturize

Moisturizing your lips is very essential to prevent it from chapping and drying out. Apply a lip balm or Vaseline 15 minutes before you apply lipstick. This helps fill in any cracks or fine lines and makes your lipstick slide evenly and remain long-lasting.

3. Apply A Base – Liner

This will help absorb all the excess uneven pigmentation.  Now place the other side of the tissue on your lips and puff translucent or loose powder through the tissue. Remove the tissue and apply the final coat of your lipstick.
