Krishak League leader hacked dead in Satkhira

A local Krishak League leader in Satkhira was hacked to death by some unknown miscreants. 

Kashem Ali Kaguji, 54, was planned murdered near his fishing enclosure in Kholpetua village of Gabura union of the upazila around 12 midnight.

According to villagers, the deceased was General Secretary of Gabura Union Krishak League.

Milon Kaguji, the nephew of the deceased, quoting his aunt, said that on Thursday night, Kashem and his wife were sleeping in the enclosure to guard the fish. At around 12 o'clock in the night some people came and tied up Kashem's wife and took Kashem hostage at gunpoint and hacked him to death.

Local Union Parishad (UP) member Rabiul Islam confirming the matter said there was a dispute between Kashem Kaguji and Lokman Gong.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shyamnagar Police Station Abul Kalam Azad the matter is being investigated by the police.
