One of the quota reformists was shot dead by the alleged members of the law enforcement agencies during protest in the capital's Aftabnagar area today (July 18).

The deceased Zillur Sheikh was a science department student of the Dhaka Imperial College.

The matter was confirmed by the deceased father.

Dhaka Imperial College management council, teachers, officers and students have expressed deep grief in this incident and condoled the bereaved family.

Following the ongoing quota movement at least 9 people were killed across country.

Of the people died, at least four killed and over 400 injured today during a clash with police in Dhaka’s Uttara.
