DHAKA: Opposition BNP will stage a rally to mark the 7th   November as ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’ Suhrawardy Udyan in the city.

Party’s joint general secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement of the programme in a press release on Monday.

As per the news release, On November 7, the party will initiate the programme by hoisting national and party flag at Nayapaltan central office at 06:00am.

Later, the leaders of the party led by Khaleda Zia will offer fateha to the grave of slain president and founder of BNP Ziaur Rahman and place floral wreaths at the tomb at 10:00am.

BNP sources said the day would be observed across the country through proper solemnity.
