DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Monday said BNP would not join in all-party polls-time government  to be formed on November 15.

“If the incumbent government forms all-party polls-time interim government on November 15, BNP will not join in it and it will not participate in the polls under the government,” he said.

The spokesperson for the party came up with the assertion at a press conference at Nayapaltan office of the party in the afternoon.

Criticizing the remarks made by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said, “She told lie about the CNN report on BNP link with BDR carnage.”

He ruled out any link of BNP with BDR carnage.
