DHAKA: Opposition BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday alleged that the government isolated Khaleda Zia to keep her in mental pressure.

Rizvi made the allegation while addressing a press conference on Sunday at party’s Nayapaltan office in the first day of 84-hour hartal.

He said, “Additional police were deployed at Khaleda’s house from Friday. Water and food supply was disrupted and many visitors had to wait long time.”
