No casuistry over Constitution

DHAKA: Minister without portfolio Suranjit Sengupta, also Awami League Advisory Council Member urged the opposition and the intelligentsia to stop casuistry over the constitution.

He came up with the urge in a discussion meeting at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, arranged by Nouka Somorthok Gosthi, on Friday noon.

The lawmaker said: “The scope of discussion is shrinking as the days are passing by. But we must remember that there is no other way except dialogue. This is why we all should come forward for dialogue.”

Urging to stop casuistry to the opposition and Intelligentsia over the constitution, minister said: “Cabinet members have expressed their wish to resign. Responding to their wishes, Prime Minister has taken the resignation letters. The resignation will be implemented with the President’s reception of the letters.”
