DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League President, on Sunday asked leaders and activists to work altogether for the party nominated candidate.

The premier came up with the plea while addressing a view exchange meeting with party’s candidacy aspirants for 10th national election at Gana Bhaban in the afternoon.

Expressing her stern position to hold free and fair polls, she said, “The incumbent government is committed to oversee free and fair election.”

She told her audience: “Awami League doesn’t believe in election manipulation as we rejected a total 1.23 crore fake voter identity and initiated electronic voting machine system to ensure fair polls.”   

Sheikh Hasina added: “Let the people know about our remarkable development works and labor hard for the party candidates and only the labor would craft Awami Legume into power again.”

The Awami League President also directs to uphold chain of command following party’s cenrtal decision.
