KUSHTIA: District Swechhasebak Dal and Jatyatabadi Chhatra Dal called a half-day shutdown in the district for Thursday demanding release of Swechhasebak Dal central leaders.

The shutdown will be observed from 6.00am to 12:00 noon.

The front organizations of opposition BNP convener Advocate Shamimul Hasan Apu confirmed the matter to banglanews around 11.00am Wednesday.

He said that a tougher agitation programme would be enforced if our demand is not met immediately.
