DHAKA: Law enforcers held joint convener of Dhaka city BNP Anwaruzzaman and recovered 10 fresh cocktails from his possession from city’s Mohammadpur area on Wednesday afternoon.

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-2 detained him around 3:00pm.

Additional Police Super of RAB-2 Raihan Uddin Khan told banglanews that, in a drive at a house of Satmosjid Housing area of Mohammadpur, RAB personnel nabbed Anwaruzzaman and recovered 10 fresh cocktails from him.

There are several lawsuits against Anwaruzzaman with various thanas of the capital, including Tejgaon Thana, he added.
