DHAKA: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hasan Mahmud Khandaker on Tuesday termed the prevailing political violence an separate incident.

The police chief also claimed people got normal life as law enforcers performed their duty perfectly.

He came up with the observation after visiting the scorched presiding officer and police personnel at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

In response to queries of journalists, he said police personnel are performing their duties properly.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police high ups accompanied the police boss during the time.

Presiding Officer Saidul Islam, Constables Abul Kalam Azad and Imam Uddin and Ansar member Abdullah were admitted at burn unit of DMCH.
