DHAKA: The indefinite blockade on roads, railway and waterways, called by BNP-led 18-party combine, was postponed for Friday and Saturday.

Dr M Osman Farooque, Adviser to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, made the announcement in a statement on Thursday night.

However, the statement added, from Sunday the blockade will continue for indefinite period across the country.
