Blockade postponed for 2-day

DHAKA: Opposition 18-party alliance led by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) postponed their indefinite blockade for Monday, Tuesday.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement in a statement on Saturday night.

He said the blockade will continue from 6:00am Sunday to 6:00am Monday.

He also said: “Due to the holy eid-e-miladunnabi, blockade will be postponed from 6:00am Monday to 6:00am Wednesday. Till the next announcement, the indefinite blockade will continue again from 6:00am Wednesday cross the country.”
