DHAKA: Police recovered a body of Awami League leader from capital’s Mohammadpur Rohingya camp area on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Alauddin, 45, publicity secretary of Mohammadpur ward no.46.

Sources said that locals found the man hanging by the neck from a ceiling fan at a house in the morning.

On information, Mohammad Thana Sub-Inspector Shamsul Haque recovered the body.

Mohammadpur Thana Office-in-Charge confirmed the matter to banglanews.
