NOAKHALI: Police in a special drive held nine activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami from various spots of the district between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Confirming the matter, district police control room said apprehending subversive activities police held them.

After interrogation the detainees will be produced before the district court, the police source said.
