DHAKA: Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Tuesday claimed that there is no foreign pressure on the incumbent government for holding interim elections.

The finance minister came up with the assertion while talking to journalists at his secretariat office in the city afternoon.

Muhith said, “Tell me what the pressure is. There is no cause for any pressure. We first offer BNP.”

The minister opined that the pressure of European Union and some other diplomats is totally useless.
