DHAKA: Jamaat-e-Islami will hold a rally at North gate of the Baitul Mokarram Mosque, the national mosque in the country, on Thursday as part of its protest programme across the country.

A press release from the party signed by Dr Shafiqul Islam Masud made the disclosure on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Jamaat sought permission to the administration to hold the rally.

It also urged the party men to make the rally a success by participating massively.
