BNP to besiege DC offices Thursday

DHAKA: BNP called a fresh program for Thursday to besiege the offices of the deputy commissioners (DCs) across the country in protest against the vote rigging in upazila polls.

The party also decided to submit memorandum to the DCs.

Joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement in a press conference at Naya Paltan office on Tuesday.

He told the journalists: “We announced the program protesting occupying polling centres across the country, snatching ballot boxes, attacking party leaders and activists and issuing threat to them and killing.”
