KHAGRACHHARI: The chairmen, vice-chairmen and female vice-chairmen of nine upazilas of Rangamati and Khagrachari districts took oath on Thursday.

Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdullah administered the oath of chairmen and vice-chairmen.

The Khagrachhari District Administration arranged the oath taking programme at the Town Hall in the afternoon.

Khagrachari Deputy Commissioner Masud Karim, Director of Local Government Division Sankar Kumar Saha, Superintendent of Police Sheikh Mizanur Rahman and Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Khalek were among others present on the occasion.

The newly elected chairmen and vice-chairmen along with their supporters joined there spontaneously.
