DHAKA: A Dhaka Court Tuesday granted bail to BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas in a case filed for torching a bus on the night before June 27 hartal.

After the hearing, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ismail Hossain passed the order rejecting the remand prayer of the investigation officer of the case SI Nasiruddin Bhuiyan.

Earlier on June 28, SI Bhuiyan filed a petition seeking seven days remand and for showing him arrest in the case.
