DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia sat with her party’s senior lawyers at Gulshan office Saturday night to discuss legal issues over government decision of canceling the parole release to her younger son Arafat Rahman Koko.

Koko has been abroad for treatment being released on parole for the last two years.

The government on August 19 cancelled his release and asked him to return home to surrender by August 31.

BNP Standing Committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Joint Secretary Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokan, Advocate Sanaullah Mia, Chairman of Advocate Council of Dhaka, Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan, Adviser of BNP Chairperson and Senior Joint Secretary Mirza Faqrul Islam Alamgir were present in the meeting.
