FROM MODHUPUR: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, asserted that upcoming election would not be an election merely, its would the last fight of 1971 movement.

“Anti-liberation force still exists in the country and trying to grab power. Awami League will erase Rajakars from the country, if we assume power next,” he added.

He came up with the observation while addressing a rally at Modhupur Rani Bhabani Model high school ground on Monday morning.

Sajeeb Wazed Joy said, “BNP gave Ministry to Razakar’s hand. Yesterday Khaleda Zia said if she comes again in power she will release Razakars. We can’t allow it to happen ever.”

Earlier in the morning, he started for Modhupur at around 10:00am. Prime minister’s two special assistants and some central Awami League committee members joined with him.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s Deputy press secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan also joined with Joy.
