JHENIDAH: District BNP called dawn-dusk hartal for Wednesday in the district in protest against the murder of Harinakundo upazila BNP president Abul Hossain, also Daulatpur UP chairman.

District BNP general secretary Abdul Malek made the announcement at a press briefing at party office on Monday noon.  

He said they enforced the hartal demanding immediate arrest of Awami League criminal’s allegedly killed popular BNP leader Abul Hossain.

Earlier in the day, the BNP leader was killed as the opponents chopped, opened fire and hurled bomb at him during hartal hours.
