DHAKA: Jamaat-Shibir activists exploded 5/6 cocktails in front of BRTC bus depot at capital’s Kamalapur on Thursday morning.

Witnesses said that around 30/35 Shibir activists brought out a sudden procession at around 08:30am and blasted 5/6 cocktails to create panic among office going people.

Later, police rushed to the spot and dispersed them and also held some suspected Shibir men.

Confirming the matter Motijheel Thana Officer-in-Charge Forman Ali told banglanews, “On information police rushed to the spot and the drive is underway.”

Earlier, Chhatra Shibir declared to stage countrywide protest demanding release of their president Delwar Hossain.
