DHAKA: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday said her party would form a “government by the people” in the next.  

The former prime minister of the country made the assertion while addressing a press conference at a city hotel in the afternoon.

The opposition leader also called upon people to get united to save the democracy and win the freedom from the autocratic government.

Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Members MK Anwar, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Barrister Jamir Uddin Sircar, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia and Nazrul Islam Khan were among others present at the press meet.
