DHAKA: The opposition lawmakers Wednesday staged walkout from Parliament in protest against Awami League lawmakers’ derogatory remarks over Late President Ziaur Rahman.

Ruling Awami League lawmaker Fazlul Karim Selim made the remarks over Ziaur Rahman in the Parliament.

Protesting the remarks that the all the activities of late President Ziaur Rahman was declared illegal by the High Court, opposition lawmakers staged walkout at around 7:44pm.
