DHAKA: Police filed a total of 38 cases against several hundred of BNP-Jamaat leaders and activists with various thanas of the capital for carrying Arms, explosives and attacking on duty police personnel on Saturday.

Media Centre of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The cases were filed with Mirpur, Kafrul, Darus Salam, Tejgaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Ramna, Paltan, Motijheel, Jatrabari, Demra, Kadamtali, Sabujbagh, Shahjahanpur, Bhatara, Gulshan and Uttara Thanas.
