Countrymen to suffer more: Moeen Khan

DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Dr Moeen Khan categorically said that the people would suffer an ominous spell of autocracy if opposition political party’s is barred to practice political responsibility.

The BNP leader made the assertion while addressing a press briefing at city’s press club on Friday evening.

Moeen Khan said, “Government is walking through an autocratic way by initiating a ‘bizarre election’ without vote, voters and any contest.”

Moeen Khan termed the stand as filthy game with people’s fate and said it will plunge the country into a ditch.

He urged people to come forward under the call of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to revive the democratic practice instead of autocracy.
