Bashundhara Group Federation Cup Football begins tomorrow (Dec 20) as two matches will be held for the opening day at two separate venues across the country.

On the day, Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will take on Azampur Football Club Uttara in one of the Group A match at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

Besides, Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will meet old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj in another group A match of opening day's fixture.

Both the matches kick off at 2.30 pm.

The Federation Cup will be held at three separate venues -- Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj, Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj and Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla -- across the country with the participation of eleven clubs of Bangladesh Premier League.

Participating teams:

Group A - Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Mohammedan Sporting Club Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society and Azampur Football Club.

Group B - Bashundhara Kings, Chittagong Abahani Limited, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra and Fortis Football Club.

Group C- Abahani Limited Dhaka, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra and Bangladesh Police Football Club.
