The former Olympic and world champion sprinter Tori Bowie died in her home due to complications from childbirth, according to an autopsy report obtained by USA Today Sports.

The 32-year-old was found dead at her home in Orlando, Florida, in May after the local sheriff’s department attended “a well-being check of a woman … who had not been seen or heard from in several days.” A cause of death was not released at the time. Bowie’s online obituary said she was predeceased by a daughter, Ariana.

According to the report from Orange County Medical Examiner Office, Bowie was eight months pregnant and in the process of giving birth when she died. It is unclear if friends or family knew she was pregnant.
