Incredible India achieving yet another commanding victory by 160 runs against the Netherlands kept its all win record intact at CWC 2023. At Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru batting first India scored sky high 410/4 as the 5 top order batsmen all scored above 50 runs. 

Then the very strong Indian bowling restricting Netherlands to 250 all out in 47.5 overs achieved yet another comprehensive win. With 9 wins in 9 matches India remained the only unbeaten team of the tournament. On 15 November 2023 India meets New Zealand for the first semi final at Wankhede Stadium Mumbai. Australia and South Africa on the following day will lock horns with South Africa at Eden Gardens Kolkata to work out which team meets with the winners of the other semifinal. 

The outcome of the match was never in doubt as very strong Indian batsmen displaying aggressive brand of cricket achieved their highest score of the tournament 410/4 all out batting first. 5 top and middle order batsmen Shreyas Iyer (128*), KL Rahul (102), Rohit Sharma (66), Shubman Gill (51) and Virat Kohli (51) scored 50 or more. The target was well above the reach of Netherlands. Yet they did not die wondering. Putting in their best Netherlands scored 250 all out in 47.5 overs. The margin of Indian victory remained huge 160 runs. Dominating every opposition completely India kept its winning sheet clean raising the possibility of appearing in the final and lifting the trophy for the third time at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on 19 November. Credit must not be taken away from ICC associate qualifier Netherlands. Beating semi finalist South Africa and Bangladesh in two matches and competing well in most other matches they proved that they were not toddlers among the big fish. 

India looks so strong in all departments that only miracle can possibly deny India now from winning the trophy. All the top and middle order batsmen are in prime form. Yesterday Shreyas Iyer scored yet another unbeaten century 128* in 94 deliveries featured with 10 fours and 5 sixes. KL Rahul scored 102 in only 64 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes. Rohit Sharma scored 66, Young Shubman Gill and Virat scored 51 each as India posted a very imposing score of 410 /4 in allotted overs. 

Netherlands the ICC associate qualifier team naturally did not have the weapon to challenge Indian might. They, however, did not die wondering. Putting in their best efforts they could reach 250 all out. Teja Nidamanuru 54, Sybrand Engelbrecht 45, Colin Ackerman 35, Max O’Dowd 30 had start but none could bat deep. All Indian bowlers produced impressive performance. Mohammad Seraj (2/29), Jasprit Bumrah (2/33), Kuldeep Yadav (2/41) and Ravindra Jadeja (2/49) shared the Dutch wickets.  India goes to the semi finals as a very strong unit hungry with their winning momentum going. One wonders how to interrupt the winning momentum of incredible India. They have too many match winners and all in prime form at the same time.
