Rangpur Riders reached the 152-run target and clinched the victory over Fortune Barisal in the 38th match in Chattogram on Monday.

Following Brandon King's 45 off 22 balls and Shakib Al Hasan's 29 off 15 balls, Rangpur faced a challenge.

Despite the efforts of three batsmen, Barishal suffered the defeat. 

However, Jimmy Neesham's return to the attack added excitement. Rangpur edged closer to victory with his spirited innings. Yet, the excitement continued till the end, with Rangpur requiring to clinch victory in the final over. Rangpur Riders claimed victory by a mere one wicket.

Batting first, Tamim's 33 off 20 balls, Brunton's 26 off 24 balls, and Mayers' explosive 46 off 27 balls gave some hope for Fortune Barishal, but they couldn't withstand Rangpur Riders' bowling onslaught.

As a result, Tamim's squad managed to halt at 151 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Mushfiqur scored 5, Soumya 0, and Riyad contributed 9 runs.

Abu Hider took five wickets for Rangpur, while Hasan Mahmud claimed 2.
