Jacks and Patidar's aggressive batting displayed RCB's determination to chase down the target. However, despite their efforts, RCB ended up at 221 all out, with Karn Sharma's last over blitz of 20 runs not being enough to secure the win.

Earlier, KKR's skipper Shreyas Iyer's composed half-century and opener Phil Salt's blitzkrieg set the stage for a formidable total of 222/6. Salt's 48 off 16 balls and Iyer's 50 off 36 balls laid the foundation for KKR's innings, with contributions from Ramandeep Singh (24) and Andre Russell (27) helping them cross the 220-run mark.

For KKR, Andre Russell was the standout bowler, grabbing three wickets for 25 runs. Sunil Narine and Harshit Rana also contributed with two wickets each. Cameron Green was the most successful bowler for RCB, taking two wickets for 35 runs.
