Mohit Sharma’s three wickets restricted Chennai Super Kings to 196/8 as Gujarat Titans defeated the Chennai Super Kings by 35 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.

While Daryl Mitchell and Moeen Ali chipped in with half-centuries it felt like CSK had a chance however, after they fell it was one-way traffic. 

Earlier, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan’s tons ensured Gujarat Titans got to 231/3 from their 20 overs.

With the win GT who were at the bottom of the table have moved on to 7th position and CSK who were at fourth position before today will stay there as of now. 

CSK have to face Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at noon at Chepauk.
