The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York will host India's warm-up match against Bangladesh ahead of the Men's T20 World Cup 2024.

This match between the two Asian neighbours will mark the first official game at the newly launched 34,000-seat stadium. 

The fixture is set for June 1, coinciding with the tournament's opening day, which will feature a match between co-hosts USA and Canada in Dallas.

India's players for the T20 World Cup will travel to the USA in groups. Those not participating in the IPL 2024 playoffs will depart early, while the rest will join later. 

India's first T20 World Cup match is scheduled at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on June 5.
