The brilliant performance of the bowlers helped Uganda beat Papua New Guinea (PNG) by three wickets in their Group C match of the T20 World Cup 2024 on Thursday. 

Opting to bowl, Uganda bundled out PNG for just 77. 

However, they fumbled in the chase and lost seven wickets, before finally clinching the first victory against PNG. 

Alpesh Ramjani, Cosmas Kyewuta, Juma Miyagi, and Frank Nsubuga scalped two wickets each for Uganda. 

This was a historic match for Uganda as their recorded their first win in the T20 World Cup history.
