DHAKA: The total number of country's internet users reached 5.7 crore at the end of July this year with over 4 crore 95 lakh 41 thousnads mobile internet users.

The country's telecom regulator Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) showed the statistics on Tuesday (September 1).

According to BTRC data, the number of subscribers in the country reached 5.7 crore in July with over 4 crore 95 lakh 41 thousands mobile internet users, 12.93-lakh ISP and PSTN internet users and 1.74-lakh Wimax users.
 
The number of subscribers of the six mobile operators, Grameenphone, Banglalink, Robi Axiata, Airtel, Teletalk and Citycell at the end of July stood at 5.39 crore, 3.24 crore, 2.79 crore, 90-lakh, 42.21 lakh and 11.61-lakh respectively, the BTRC data showed.

According to BTRC data, the total number of country's mobile phone subscribers reached 12.87 crore at the end of July.
