DHAKA: Apple has shifted its press conference where it’s expected to announce the next iPhones to 21 March, from an original date of 15 March, according to multiple American websites.

Apple has not confirmed the date, but it has been thought for some time to be planning to introduce new devices next month, including a small, cheaper smartphone, possibly called the iPhone 5se, and the iPad Air 3.

It was unclear why the date was pushed back a week.

On 22 March, Apple is also expected to be in court, in its case against the FBI over providing access to a locked iPhone in a terrorism investigation, reports telecompaper.com.
