DHAKA: Grameenphone, the largest telecom operator of the country, launched Grameenphone Express on Wednesday (June 22), a base of 1000+ one-stop store for devices and digital products to help its customers embrace digital lifestyle.

GP issued a press release in this regard.

GP Express will be a trusted one-stop store situated at convenient locations where customers can meet their needs for Smartphones & Devices, e-commerce, GP Apps, 3rd Party Apps (Facebook) along with many other upcoming products like Post-Paid, accessories and more.

More than 700 shops around the country have been opened across the country on the first day, the release added.

Grameenphone CMO Yasir Azman said, “Grameenphone will continue to empower societies by fuelling the digital revolution in this country”.

“In Bangladesh, where a large portion of the population is new or a stranger to the world of internet, we understand that increasing number of organised retail points is important to help customers get the right counseling and guidance on Internet and digital lifestyle.”

“Going forward, these stores will be a crucial vehicle to achieve our digital ambition and they are well equipped to educate consumers about our products and services close to their neighborhood, covering rural Bangladesh up to the union level. In brief, this initiative is about to make our customer’s digital life and progress easier,” he added.

With its launch, GP Express will offer its customers attractive devices with exclusive bundle offers, consultancy on digital lifestyle and exclusive GP products and services.

Most importantly, with more than thousand stores around the country, Grameenphone Express will be bringing digital services and smartphones to the customer’s doorstop, the release added.
