Robi brings mobile app iBuddy

DHAKA: Robi has launched the time based internet purchasing mobile application - iBuddy which offers a number of duration options to choose from.

It offers data packs for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour, two hours and 10 hours.

For the first time in the country, such a time based internet pack purchasing scheme has been introduced, said a press release.

The subscribers only need to register to the app by entering their mobile phone number. Once registered, one could easily purchase minutes based data packs by selecting the number of minutes and then activate it.

Whether it is an occasion user or a regular heavy data user, the iBuddy app offers something for everyone. This app is downloadable from Google Play Store.

Robi’s iBuddy application is designed to address the problem of more technical and mathematical terms which are sometimes alien to the users. It in fact truly empowers them to take charge of their data pack consumption.

Customers can purchase the packs multiple times and the usage time of packs would be accumulated accordingly. A timer will appear in the app showing the balance of minutes remaining in the time based data pack purchased.

Following expiration of the validity of the data pack, the app would request the user to extend the internet connection. For special offers, one needs to keep an eye on the iBuddy application and also need to update it regularly.

This innovative one of a kind data product has readily comforted the subscribers as they don’t have to watch out for the kind of application they use on the internet or nature of the content they access on the internet.

With minute based data pack they can go about their business on the internet just keeping an eye on the time and nothing else.
