DHAKA: The persisting bad weather has caused electricity disruption in many parts of the country including Faridpur and Barishal areas, affecting the mobile networks too. 

As a result, some subscribers may face sporadic service interruptions. 

The Telecom operators are working together to resolve the problem quickly and ensure uninterrupted network service to their subscribers, said a press release Wednesday (April 18). 

Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) has sought apology for the temporary inconvenience, on behalf of all operators.
