DHAKA: Mobile services of 3G and 4G internet were restored Sunday (August 5), after around 24-hours of disruption due to technical glitch on Saturday (August 4).

Users got access to internet on their phones since the evening.    

Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Senior Assistant Director (Media Wing) Md Jakir Hossain confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

“Mobile internet across the country faced problem due to technical error. BTRC detected the fault and solved it. Besides, BTRC regrets the problem, to the subscribers,” he said.    

However, 3G and 4G internet services went down on Saturday evening (August 4).
