DHAKA: ICT Affairs Adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sajeeb Wazed Joy is expected to launch the state website designed for scrutinizing National Identity (NID) Cards in easiest and quick ways. 

He will inaugurate the portal 'www.porichoy.gov.bd’ at a function of ICT Ministry to be held at 3pm Wednesday (July 17), said Press wing to the premier.  

The ceremony will be chaired by ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak.

The 'Porichoy' portal is a gateway server linked to the database of Election Commission (EC). The application programming is dedicated to scrutinize NIDs of any state or private organizations' personnel.  

The gateway will prevent faking IDs and ensure safety and privacy. It will accelerate the tasks where registration with NIDs is required.
