The oath taking and installation ceremony of the newly elected committee of Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) Chattogram District unit was held in the port city on Monday. 

The programme was organised at a community centre in the city's Love Lane area at around 1:30 pm. 

BAJUS Central Committee General Secretary Badal Chandra Roy was present as the chief guest in the event while BAJUS Chattogram District unit President Jishu Banik presided over it. 

BAJUS Chattogram district unit General Secretary Pranab Saha delivered the welcome speech while BAJUS Former President and BAJUS Standing Committee on District Monitoring Chairman Dr Dilip Kumar Roy, BAJUS Central Committee Vice Presidents Gulzar Ahmed and Md Ripanul Hasan, BAJUS Advisor Ruhul Amin Rasel, and BAJUS  Executive Member and BAJUS Standing Committee on District Monitoring Pabitra Chandra Ghose were present as special guests. 

Dr Dilip Kumar Roy conducted the oath taking ceremony with the newly elected members of the BAJUS Chattogram District unit committee. 

Besides, BAJUS Chattogram District unit Former President Mrinal Kanti Dhar was accorded a farewell in the programme too. 

Leaders of the different regional committees also welcomed the newly elected members with floral bouquets. 

BAJUS Chattogram District unit Members Advocate Amal Kanti Dhar, Pradeep Dhar, Gautam Chandra Biswas and Md Nurul Anwar Chowdhury were also present, among others.
