Bangladesh logs 5 Covid cases, zero dead in 24 hours

Bangladesh on Friday (Mar 31) recorded zero Covid-19 death while it reported five cases of the virus in the last 24 hours, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

The official data showed a total of 29,446 people in the country died due to the disease since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.

Besides, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 20, 38,028.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update on the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in 2020 while its first death was on March 18 that year.
