DHAKA: Fatema Clinic and Diagnostic centre has been sealed off in old part of Dhaka city on Tuesday night.

A high-official of heath department, in a drive, sealed off the clinic for providing low quality health service.

Health ministry’s information officer Porikkhit Chowdhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.

While answering a question of opposition Chief Whip Tajul Islam in the point of order period at the Jatiya Sangsad, Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said some illegal diagnostic centers and clinics are doing only their business in the name of medical service.

The people are being deceived by these sorts of service providers, he further said.

However, an investigation team is formed under the authorization of health ministry and ready to detect the flimflam across the country from Tuesday, he added.
